چکیده

Abstract Nowadays, inertial confinement fusion (ICF) research related to noncontact positioning and transport of free-standing cryogenic targets is playing an increasingly important role in this field. The operational principle behind these technologies the magnetic acceleration levitating target carrier (or sabot) made from Type-II, high-temperature superconductors (HTSCs). physics interaction among levitation, guidance propulsion systems based on a quantum levitation high-pinning HTSCs mutually normal fields. This paper discusses current delivery strategies future perspectives create different permanent magnet guideway (PMG) for ICF with levitation. In particular, several PMG building options optimizing both suspension using HTSC-sabot will be analyzed. Credible solutions have been demonstrated linear round PMGs, including ones cyclotron process realize high-running velocities limited track. Focusing physics, we describe detail main aspects results obtained computations proof experiments. High-pinning HTSC promises stable self-controlled accelerate placed HTSC-sabots up required injection 200 m/s beyond.

Experimental Investigation of High-Temperature Superconducting Magnet for Maglev

The use of high-temperature superconducting wires (HTS wires) in on-board superconducting magnets for maglev has several advantages such as improvement in the stability of the superconducting magnet, improvement in reliability through simplification of the magnet structure, and decrease in the mass of the superconducting magnet and energy consumed by the on-board cryocooler. To demonstrate the ...

Vibration Reduction Methods for Superconducting Maglev Vehicles

The superconducting magnetically levitated transport (Maglev) system is a focus of interest as a future mode of transport at high speeds of over 500 km/h. Using a computational model of the vertical and pitching motions of a Maglev train, a study is conducted on the effectiveness of a maximum force control of the primary suspension using electromagnetic forces output by a bogie-integrated linea...

MagneMotion Maglev Demonstration on ODU Guideway

MagneMotion and Old Dominion University undertook a cooperative agreement to demonstrate the MagneMotion M3 urban maglev technology on an existing elevated guideway on the ODU campus in Norfolk VA. M3 was designed for urban applications with speeds up to 100 mph, acceleration up to 1.6 m/s2, and a 60 foot turn radius. Figure 1 shows the “sled” vehicle on the ODU guideway. This vehicle was weigh...
